Last year a wise man from the East contacted me via my YouTube site, interested in the Liu He Ba Fa (Water Boxing) vids I have posted there. Since that time, I have learned he is a Master of this martial art among many other subjects and specialties.My friend lives in Thailand. Originally from the eastern US, he is an artist, physicist, bio-chemist, martial artist and veteran. At nearly 62, his broad cross-cultural, scientific and metaphysical experiences have yielded a very unique perspective which I hoped would stimulate thought and discourse here in the Cloud, where we all spend so much of our time.
Tapping into his physicist self, His Nibs from the East has produced a Theory of Everything. His human drive for self-preservation and self-respect led him to master many of the esoteric Taoist Arts. He has written, published, loved, lost, struggled and succeeded in life as we all must do. His varied and richly textured experiences have yielded a human of rare quality, discernment, character and ability -- and of course, he has wonderful tales to tell!
We've become friends via email and he has agreed to share his knowledge in this series of blog posts. More background material on my friend to come in the next post along with his response to the sample question I posed to him when pitching this cooperative blog idea.
